Well, if you've never heard of Brainerd, Minnesota, you will now, because an Impractical Jokers style prank has garnered national attention! A group of fishing buddies decided they would take out a hilarious billboard and troll their friend Troy for his lack of fishing skills and they even included his contact information.
The full message on the billboard actually read, “This is Troy. He sucks at fishing. Talk smack to him at Troysucks2@gmail.com” And apparently, Troy actually started getting fishing tips from random people!
But Troy got his friends back when he paid Happy Gilmore actor Christopher McDonald (Shooter McGavin) to film a Cameo video smack-talking his friends. Shooter teased, “Hey Dave, Tom, Chappie, Clint, this is Shooter McGavin here. You guys really think you’re going to beat Troy on your ice fishing trip this year?”
The Washington Examiner published an article that said Troy’s friends paid $300 to put the ad up for five glorious days filled with shenanigans.
