The World's Largest Swimming Lesson is going on today and the Delray Beach Police Department is sponsoring one of the local events.

Two young boys drowned in a backyard pool in Delray recently and police are urging parents with kids who can't swim to bring them to Pompey Park.

The free lesson begins at 11 this morning.  It's part of a national initiative and organizers are going for the Guinness Book of World Records.

This is also going on at the Rapids in West Palm Beach, several Palm Beach County swimming schools and Sailfish Splash Water Park in Stuart.
