The West Palm Beach City Commission is expected to vote today on a proposed hotel that would be built next to the Palm Harbor Marina, on the east side of Flagler Drive.

This final vote has been delayed several times because developers have been trying to resolve differences with some of the residents of the Waterview Towers.  Their view of downtown will be blocked by the new hotel and some say the plans violate the marina's agreements with the condo and the city that were enacted years ago.

This development is being described as a "boutique hotel", with 108 rooms.
