The field for the Honda Classic is getting more competitive by the day and that's great news for the local economy, which is expected to get a major boost from this tournament.  In fact, that boost could be even bigger this time around.

Henrik Stenson, Justin Rose and Phil Mickelson have all committed to playing at PGA National February 27th through March 2nd.  That gives the Honda Classic committments from the top eight players in the World Golf rankings, including Jupiter Island resident Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy.

Mickelson had said earlier that he planned to commit, but now it's official and this is the first time he'll compete in the Honda Classic since 2002.

Never in the event's history has there been so many top ten players entered.
