The family of a SeaWorld trainer who was killed in 2010 by a killer whale is commenting about a documentary critical of animal captivity at SeaWorld's marine parks.

Dawn Brancheau's family members say on the website for a charity named after the trainer, that they've been repeatedly asked about how they feel about the documentary ``Blackfish'' since it was released last year.  They say Brancheau wouldn't have worked at SeaWorld for 15 years if she didn't think the whales were well-cared for.

Family members say they continue to support her former co-workers who still train with the marine animals at SeaWorld parks.

Since the release of "Blackfish", several musical performers have pulled out of a concert series scheduled at SeaWorld Orlando in February.

A check on the park's website, where they promote their Bands, Brew & BBQ event shows no names of performers, just a mention of "concert lineup coming soon."

The event begins on February 1st.
